PART 1
Indicate the statistical data for each item below, by race/ethnicity. Cite the source for each collection of data.
1) Percent of the total U.S. population:
Black/African-Americans
Asian Americans
Latinx/Hispanic
Indigenous/Native American
White
Optional: Any other group you may be interested in including here.
2) List the median household income for each of the the racial/ethnic populations listed above.
3) List the high school, college, graduate/professional school completion percentage of the racial/ethnic groups listed above (see census.gov for this information-you’ll have to search, but you’ll stumble across all kinds of interesting information in the process).
4) Rate of home ownership for each racial/ethnic group above. Note, home ownership is an important indicator of wealth. For the vast majority of the U.S., one’s home is the only asset one has.
5) Current unemployment rate for each of the racial/ethnic groups listed above.
6) Poverty rate for each of the racial/ethnic group listed above.
